“Door to door” service starts with a telephone call from the sender, the courier arrival to the address given is scheduled, the shipment is picked up and then forwarded to the address, actually to the door of the recipient in any part of Serbia.
Transport services are paid in cash or by payment order. Paying by payment order is available to the clients who have signed the contract with City Express, in other words, cash only if the client does not have a signed contract on shipping.
Yes. If the recipient has the signed contract with City Express, the recipient can pay by payment order and by the rate stipulated in the contract.
If the recipient has no contract, he is paying cash by the rates stipulated in regular City Express pricelist.
The sender can pay by the rate offered to his partner (in this case sender) only if the sender chooses the option: COD (cash on delivery – by recipient).
The usual delivery time is 24 hours for all cities and larger towns on the territory of Serbia.
Changes and longer times may occur if the recipient is not present at the given address at the time of the first delivery attempt, bad weather conditions, and all the other unforeseen situations during transport that can not be influenced by the transport company. City Express does not guarantee the 24 hour delivery.
If the recipient is not present at the given address, the courier leaves a notice about the attempted delivery and the contact number for the scheduling of the delivery. Tip – if the delivery attempt has failed, call your local City Express and schedule the delivery time.
Saturday delivery is possible in most of the bigger cities in Serbia. For more precise information about the expected delivery, please contact the Call Center or your local City Express, and based on the post code/city name check if this option is available for that destination and what are the extra costs involved.
All City Express shipments are electronically tracked from pick-up to delivery. Status is available on our website www.cityexpress.rs . Return information is the information on the delivered shipment which can be obtained by phone or to the recipient’s email.
For calculating the shipment cost the important data are the actual shipment weight and the dimensions of the packaged shipment. Shipment cost is the greater of the two (dimensional weight).
In general work conditions there is a definition of the types of goods which are not allowed for transport – in other words, what is forbidden to transport.
City Express provides packaging only for smaller shipments, those that can be packed into brand envelope or PVC bag. This packaging is free of charge.
City Express will pay for the damages only if the damage is proven to be caused by the transport company. If the damages were caused by the transport company, please contact the complaints department for further action. The sender is responsible for packing and safety of the content of the shipment in transport.
City express will not compensate the damage to the breakables in shipment (glass, paintings, various appliances, some plastic…)
Fill out the online access form – request for drawing out the written contract. Based on the data from the access form we will draw out the contract and deliver it to your address. After the both sides have signed the contract, you become a contracted partner. You can also contact the nearest City Express business office in Serbia for the same procedure.
Yes, you can call the nearest call center to come pick up the shipment and pay cash for the services, or you can become a contractual partner by filling out the access form on the website.
When you use up all the numbers that were assigned to you, the program will report that you are out of transport slips.
When you click on Yes in the window the program will display the certificate (picture) and offer an option to send in your certificate,
You should attach your certificate as an attachment and send it to the address

Wait 5 minutes for our colegues to return to you the processed certificate-registry, save it (e.g. on desktop) and than click twice on it.
In case that you have installed the program city ship yourself, you have changed printers, or you have tried to print labels and the end of the day and the printer is not responding. In the program city ship, in the upper left corner look for the options setup, than in the drop down menu find options, in the window find tab printers,
In the part printers set your printer for labels and reports
The tab printers is divided into two parts, transport labels (labels) and report. In the part named transport slip attach printing format 2×2-A4, find the button with three dots, click on it and the program will offer you to choose which printer to attach; in the other part named report also find the button with three dots and choose the printer you want to use.
Every time you use the program city ship to send shipments (when you print your labels and end of day) in the folder export a .cif file is formed (picture below)
which you should attach as attachment and send to one of our email addresses (city-ship@cityexpress.rs or cityship@gmail.com).
When installing the program city ship (if you had not changed options) in program files is formed a folder ship, in folder ship folder data, in folder data folder export. We recommend that you transfer the folder export to your desk top so you could controll the shipments you are sending.
If you are changing computers or sending the comuter to be serviced and you want to save your address book, you need to in the aplication in the upper left corner find the option address book than in the drop down menu option export and you will see your address book, save it.
When you want to reinstate your address book go to the option address book, in the drop down menu find option import, when you click on import in the window find your file with the addresses and click, a small window will appear (format DBF changed), click OK and you will see the table where you can compare the data being imported (picture below).
If you have created a shipment but you have not printed it, you have an option to edit the data for every shipment, like this: Right/left click on the shipment you want to edit (picture below)
In the dropdown menu choose the option edit, the program will return you to the tab you have already filled out (like in the picture below). If you want to change something on the recipient address (left side of the tab) click on the button edit,
The program will return you to the recipient tab where you edit the data and confirm with OK or add; if you want to change the number of shipments, referrence number, value or type of service (right side of the tab) just retype and confirm with OK.
If you want to delete a shipment, left/right click on the shipment you want to delete and in the drop down menu chose the option cancel and in the popup window confirm yes.
If the program fails to recognise the postal codes or the city names you shod open control panel and under regional and language options set serbian latinic in standard formats part of the tab, in the location part of the tab serbia and montenegro and in the option advance serbian latinic, confirm and restart the computer in order to save the settings.
No, customs clearance is performed by the shipping agent of the client’s choice, and if he does not have one, City Express will, in cooperation with their shipping agent, organize customs clearance with the consent of the exporter/importer.
